Sprint qualification will take place in Dzegužkalns area, which includes some multi-dwelling houses and a little bit of park terrain too! In conclusion, fast legs and good decision making skills are very important here.
Sprint finals will be held at the one and only Old Town Riga (Vecrīga). This year Riga was selected as the most beautiful city in the Europe and we strongly believe that this was because of the stunning views of Vecrīga. Filled with tourists, small cafe's and incredible architecture, Vecrīga is the perfect place for sprint.
Bumbukalns is the place for forest middle distance qualifications, finals and we can already warn you - it might be one of the most interesting terrains in Latvia. With its changing visibility, the terrain will challenge the participants’ capabilities to alter their speed and navigate carefully in very detailed areas.
Arena Garezeri long distance will include some marshes and interesting route choices for every participant of WMOC. This terrain by the see has some really detailed contour features and no one will get bored here, we promise!
